When a customer requests the disclosure of personal information about themselves held by our company, please submit your request through the procedures designated by our company as guided at the contact point described in Article 12. After receiving the request, our company will disclose the personal information of the individual that we hold without delay. However, if any of the following items apply due to such disclosure, we may withhold disclosure in whole or in part. Please note that a fee will be charged for the disclosure of personal data.

(1) When there is a risk of harming the life, body, property, or other rights and interests of the individual or a third party
(2) When there is a risk of significantly impeding the proper execution of our company’s business
(3) When it would constitute a violation of other laws and regulations

Article 8 (Correction, Addition, or Deletion of Personal Information)

When a customer requests the correction, addition, or deletion (hereinafter referred to as “correction, etc.”) of their personal information held by our company on the grounds that it is not factual, please submit your request through the procedures designated by our company as guided at the contact point described in Article 11. Except in cases where special procedures are prescribed by other laws and regulations regarding such correction, etc., our company shall conduct necessary investigations without delay after receiving the request and determine the necessity of correction.
  2. If our company determines, based on the investigation in the preceding paragraph, that correction is necessary, our company will carry out the correction, etc., of the personal information held and notify the customer of the details of the correction without delay.
  3. If our company determines, based on the investigation in Paragraph 1, that correction is not necessary, our company will notify the customer of this decision without delay.

Article 9 (Suspension of Use of Personal Information, etc.)

  1. When a customer, based on the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Act, requests the suspension or erasure of their personal information held by our company, or the suspension of its provision to third parties (hereinafter referred to as “suspension of use, etc.”), please submit your request through the procedures designated by our company as guided at the contact point described in Article 11. After receiving the request, our company will conduct necessary investigations without delay and determine the necessity of suspension of use, etc.
  2. If our company determines, based on the investigation in the preceding paragraph, that suspension of use, etc., is necessary, our company will carry out the suspension of use, etc., of the personal information held and notify the customer of this without delay. However, in cases where carrying out the suspension of use, etc., is difficult — such as when it would require substantial costs — our company may take alternative measures that can protect the customer’s rights and interests in place of the suspension of use, etc.
  3. If our company determines, based on the investigation in Paragraph 1, that suspension of use, etc., is not necessary, our company will notify the customer of this decision without delay.

Article 10 (Compliance with Laws and Regulations)

Our company complies with the Personal Information Protection Act and other related laws and regulations, the guidelines on personal information protection applicable to our company, and this Privacy Policy with respect to the acquisition, use, and all other handling of customers’ personal information.

Article 11 (Contact Point for Complaints, Requests, and Other Inquiries)
